One of a series of eight.

One of the recurring themes in my work is the individual and his internment. In the series ¿Quien? (Who?) and ¿Dondo? (Where?), alienation underlies the whole environment. In the Quien Series, the protagonist is the individual, but lost in the landscape, freed from any defining characteristics. In Donde, the subjects belong to the spaces, places that define its place and that appear as footprints of the same alienation. One like the other, Quien and Donde reflect the pattern of the transitional, the unfinished; ephemeral circumstances that are inserted into the landscape as permanent.

The provisional transformed to permanent, perhaps one of the most important alienations of our daily life.
