Linet Sanchez Gutierrez

Linet Sanchez Gutierrez
Linet Sanchez was born in Santa Clara in 1989. She attended the Leopoldo Romañach Academy of Fine Arts in Santa Clara and the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) in Havana. Her work, photographs of uninhabited spaces, are actually photographs of spaces of her own construction. While they are physical, they are stripped of their physical meaning through the absence of inhabitants and their pale white color. Linet's works have been exhibited extensively in Havana and elsewhere in Cuba, as well as in Los Angeles, Paris, Daytona Beach Florida, Lille France, Malmo Sweden, Mexico, Columbia, Greece, Spain and other countries.
