This painting is a tribute to Japanese cuisine, in particular to one of the most traditional and popular dishes inside and outside of Japan. The reference belongs to the iconography of the Ancient Japanese Graphic Art. The image represents a samurai with Afro-Cuban features, to accentuate the Caribbean spirit and in whose costume (kimono) a battle scene takes place between four warriors who dispute a great treasure, represented by sushi.
