The Hand (El Mano)
La mano en esta pieza esta representada como símbolo de saludo, es una mano abierta al infinito, de hecho en su interior aparecen los planetas a sea el infinito, además pensé en un juego de palabras ya que en inglés la palabra sky (cielo) = heaven (paraiso) tienen un mismo significado.
Nuestras manos representan y expresan nuestro estado de ánimo en este caso indica atención a todo lo que nos todea, está abierta a la vida, es honesta, no tiene nada que ocultar.
Los gestos hechos con la mano se usan como acciones protectoras en muchas partes del mundo y está acción ha sido “congelada” a traves del mosaic.
The hand in this piece is represented as a symbol of greeting, it is a hand open to the infinite. In fact, within it appear the planets, that is… the infinite. There is also a play on words because in English the word sky (cielo) and heaven (paradais) have a same meaning.
Our hands represent and express our mood. In this case it indicates attention to everything which we are surrounded by. The hand is open to life, honest, has nothing to hide.
Hand gestures are used as protective actions in many parts of the world and this action has been
"frozen " through the mosaic .
